Our Story

Hi I'm Justin and I started making tees for UniqWear.com because I wanted to find a way to put a smile on the faces of people around me. So I started designing a few t-shirts for myself and everyone kept asking me where I got my t-shirts. So I decided to launch the website UniqWear.com to make my t-shirt ideas and those of others available to everyone.

Living in Los Angeles, we're exposed to a wide spectrum of people from many ethnicities, from Latino, to Asian, to African, to Irish...each with their own unique cultures and humor. As I started learning more about these through our diverse group of friends... I started coming up with t-shirt ideas. And, so I expanded our collection to include t-shirts inspired by ethnic humor, which became a big hit!

I recently split the business up into 2 entities UniqWear.com and UniqTees.com. UniqWear.com focuses on t-shirts with positive messages inspired by music, where as UniqTees focuses more on t-shirts with humorous designs cultural wit. I also introduced a tool that allows you to instantly personalize your own t-shirt and purchase it on the spot. Pretty cool! I donate 10% of proceeds to charity as a way of giving back and its been great!

Know that your purchase is also going towards a good cause because we donate 10% of our profits to charities like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Meals on Wheels and Autism Speaks. We strongly believe in giving back to the comunity and those who are less fortunate, and encourage you to do the same. And you do not have to buy one of our t-shirts to give back. Just know that when you do, you are indirectly giving to charity.

We are always looking for new ideas for slogans and designs, so feel free to give us suggestions. And if I decide to sell your design idea, I will pay you royalties...sharing is caring! =) So send us your suggestions!
